The inside of a flute will collect moisture from your breath whenever
you are finished playing it. This moisture can be very harmful to the
material on flute pads if left in contact with them for long periods
of time. Therefore, it becomes important to clean the inside of a flute
after you play it.
Locate your Cleaning Rod (a) and a Strip of Cotton Cloth
(b). |

Feed
the cloth through the eyelet on the end of the cleaning rod. schedule
a repair as soon as possible.

Pull the rod
and cloth through each section of your flute before you put
it away.

4. Tie the cloth on the handle of your case in order that it does
not cause pressure on your flute inside.
