LESSON LOGS INFORMATION

Practicing is quite possibly the biggest factor in any band student's success and also the primary reason why students lose interest. Practicing is not homework, not a punishment, and not a way to get out of doing dishes after supper. Practicing is simply a process required to get better at any skill a student wishes to possess. The more efficiently a student can practice, the less time they need to spend at it (which makes them happy), and the more progress they make (which makes them better). This portion of the WMS Band Website provides many individualized resources for each instrument in band to aid in practicing. Click on the links above to explore your particular instrument. Click on the links below for help with practicing in general.
